About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Blockchain Developer to join Osambit and help build secure, scalable, and high-performance decentralized applications. You’ll work on Ethereum-based projects using Solidity for smart contracts and Node.js for backend services and integrations.
At Osambit, we partner with startups and forward-thinking companies across the globe. Our blockchain work ranges from DeFi platforms and NFT marketplaces to token integrations and smart contract audits.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity on the Ethereum blockchain
- Build and maintain Node.js-based backends that integrate with Web3 technologies
- Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to define blockchain features
- Conduct code reviews and smart contract audits to ensure reliability and security
- Optimize gas usage and improve contract efficiency
- Stay up to date with Ethereum upgrades and emerging blockchain trends
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js
- 2+ years of experience writing Solidity smart contracts
- Strong knowledge of Ethereum and its core principles (EVM, gas, tokens, etc.)
- Experience with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries
- Familiarity with development tools like Hardhat, Truffle, and Ganache
- Understanding of blockchain security best practices
- Proficient in Git and modern development workflows
- Good communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with Layer 2 solutions (e.g., Optimism, Arbitrum, zk-rollups)
- Knowledge of smart contract testing frameworks (e.g., Foundry, Waffle)
- Familiarity with IPFS, The Graph, or Chainlink
- Involvement in open-source blockchain projects or personal dApp work
- Experience working in agile or startup environments
