About the Role
Osambit is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of the Fintech Banking mobile and web applications.
You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to validate features, prevent regressions, and ensure a smooth user experience across iOS and Android devices.
About the project: Osambit builds a bank-integrated Bitcoin custody wallet and platform for regulated operations. The system includes multisig wallet security, secure deposit and withdrawal flows, AML/KYC and sanctions compliance, immutable audit trails, bank-sidecar oversight, approval workflows, and staged cloud deployment. The team scope includes design and implement secure backend services, integrations, admin tooling, and operational controls required for institutional-grade digital asset custody.
What You’ll Do
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation
- Identify, document, and track bugs through their lifecycle
- Validate UI/UX against design specifications
- Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Participate in release validation and production checks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in QA testing (mobile applications preferred)
- At least 2-4 hours daily availability in time-window between 10:00 and 20:00 Kyiv timezone.
- Strong understanding of web-based and mobile app testing processes and lifecycle
- Ability to write clear and structured test documentation
- Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira or similar)
- Good understanding of usability, performance, and edge case testing
- Beginner English or higher
- Ability to work independently in a remote team
Nice to Have
- Experience in Fintech, Banking, Blockchain, Accounting or Financial domain
- Experience in Blockchain and Crypto technologies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Appium, Detox)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Understanding of authentication flows, push notifications, and secure storage
- Experience working with production apps and real users
