Problem

Build a browser-based multiplayer game that combines familiar arcade mechanics with real-money balances, allowing players to join matches, accumulate value through gameplay, cash out, and manage deposits and withdrawals from one platform.

Constraints

The platform required low-latency multiplayer gameplay, consistent physics for users and bots, secure ledger accounting, multi-chain payment support, real-time lobby state, and reliable financial event processing without affecting gameplay.

Solution Overview

We developed a browser-based multiplayer gaming platform that combines familiar real-time arcade mechanics with an integrated digital economy. The product was designed around short, competitive multiplayer sessions where users could enter available lobbies, control their character in real time, collect objects across the game map, compete with other participants, and accumulate in-game value based on their actions.

The multiplayer layer supported lobbies with up to 50 simultaneous players, live player positioning, collision handling, character growth, temporary speed boosts, a mini-map, lobby leaderboards, and real-time activity updates. To keep sessions populated during periods of lower user activity, the platform also supported autonomous game entities operating under the same movement, collision, and value rules as regular participants. Users who did not want to participate directly could enter a limited spectator mode and observe an active match.

A key part of the product was connecting game events with a persistent wallet and accounting layer. Users could maintain a platform balance, select between different lobby entry tiers, and have the corresponding value represented within a game session. Value changed only through defined gameplay events such as collecting objects, losing value while using acceleration, or interactions with other participants. A dedicated exit mechanism allowed a user to leave an active session while synchronizing the resulting balance with their platform wallet.

We implemented the supporting financial infrastructure around deposits, withdrawals, transaction history, platform fees, and treasury operations.

The system supported digital-asset payments across multiple blockchain networks through a direct integration, while an internal double-entry ledger maintained an auditable record of user balances and transaction movements independently from the payment infrastructure.

The broader platform also included authentication through major identity providers, user dashboards, historical leaderboards, referral functionality, wallet activity, live platform activity feeds, and operational tooling. Administrators received real-time visibility into active game lobbies, participant and automated-player counts, transaction activity, aggregate user balances, treasury balances, and platform revenue.

The result was a unified gaming and transaction platform in which real-time multiplayer infrastructure, browser-based UI, financial accounting, external payment integrations, and operational monitoring worked as parts of a single system rather than separate products.
